Hwie Tiauw Ka (HTK) Surabaya inaugurated its 13th Board of Supervisors and Management (2025–2028) while celebrating its 205th anniversary at Zhang Palace Restaurant, Surabaya, on Sunday, March 2, 2025.

The General Assembly on January 19, 2025 elected Yunus Subandi as Chairman of the Board of Supervisors and Elisa Christiana as Chairwoman of the Management, succeeding FS Jayapranata. The ceremony was attended by members, representatives of Hakka associations across Indonesia, Chinese community organizations in Surabaya, and Tan Dayou, Deputy Consul General of China in Surabaya.

In their remarks, Hady Liem (Chairman of the Committee), FS Jayapranata, Hendra Yan Chandra (PHIS), Tan Dayou, and Elisa Christiana expressed hopes for stronger leadership, closer unity, and greater contributions to both the community and Indonesia–China cultural ties. Elisa pledged to strengthen the organization, engage the younger generation, and uphold HTK’s legacy as the oldest Chinese association in Surabaya.

The event featured flag handover, awards to Hakka associations from various cities, cultural performances including dance, wushu, line dance, music, and concluded with a birthday cake-cutting ceremony and door prize announcements.
